Taptend (“we”, “us”) connects independent service providers with their clients through booking links and online payments. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have.

What we collect

• Account data: your name, email, phone, WhatsApp, profile handle, and business details you add when setting up your booking link.
• Booking data: the service, time slot, and deposit information for each booking, plus the client’s name and contact details they enter.
• Payment data: payments are processed by Stripe. We store payment status and references, never your full card number.
• Usage data: pages viewed and approximate location, used to keep the service running and improve it.

How we use it

• To create and run your booking link and confirm bookings.
• To process deposits and payouts through Stripe.
• To send booking confirmations and reminders to you and your clients.
• To prevent fraud and abuse.

Who we share it with

We share data with Stripe (payments), our hosting and email providers, and — where you ask us to — the AI booking assistant which uses a third-party model. We never sell your data.

Your rights

You can export your data from your dashboard, request deletion of your account, or ask what we hold about you by emailing privacy@taptend.com.

Retention

We keep booking and payment records for as long as needed for tax and legal purposes, then delete them. You can delete your account at any time.
